Daily Candy, maker of the most killer sale round-ups ever, has a new owner: Comcast. So it's safe to say we can expect new features like sale news text messages and ring tones provided by Dior (because really, you know that's got to be next) - in fact, Daily Candy's CEO, Peter Sheinbaum, has already said that he sees expansion opportunities in "mobile." Personally, we find sales texts to be annoying, but here's what we think they should do: The next time you're sitting in your living room waiting for the Comcast guys to show up, Daily Candy should send you a free text for every hour they're late, and every text should include discount codes for sites like Net-a-Porter or Shopbop. Right? Seriously, think about it.
