WWD announced that New York Magazine's putting New York Look on hold, indefinitely. The collection-focused supplement comes out twice a year and zeroes in on seasonal highlights including the best clothes, models, moments and shows. The most recent issue, with Anna Selezneva on the cover, documents the Spring 09 collections and could soon serve as a reminder of luxurious fashion weeks past. Our favorite part of the magazine has always been the pictures, most recently by war photographer Benjamin Lowy who shot the season without stepping foot in a single pit. Officially, they're canceling the spring issue and won't make any promises about next fall either which sounds pretty final. Out of all the magazines and websites closing, downsizing or making "drastic" changes, this one hurts the most.
