While Christmas shopping a couple of weeks ago - I love buying presents - I spent an unusual amount of time scouring Urban Outfitters. They've stacked, at least at their Broadway location, piles and piles of obscure, goofy gifts including ornaments and headphones and books and stockings and bottle openers and games and best of all, both tie-dye and puff paint kits. I'm not quite ready to rock puff paint again (though my roommate's Christmas sweatshirt is inspiring), but I've been seriously thinking about the tie-dye. I didn't buy it, "No shopping for me!" plays on repeat while shopping for others, but this morning, Style.com went tie-dye which means I'm taking on a Proenza challenge and heading back to Urban after work. Will the kit give me Jack and Lazaro skills instead of summer camp arts & crafts counselor skills? I'll let you know after this weekend. If you beat me to it, send pics to firstname.lastname@example.org!
