Milan's weather was mild today, but the models at D&G were bundled up and ready to trek through snowy pastures. With images of white mountains on display screens behind them, Sasha and co. stomped down a stage crafted with hardwood planks.
What I loved about the D&G girl this season--at least compared spring's all denim-clad Wild Westerner--was that she looked cozy; the pieces, per usual, were quite wearable. The Fair Isle dresses and leggings were particular favorites, as were the leather shorts. And although I'm not a fan of Mukluk-style boots, I know lots of others are. Which means these ones are sure to appear in plenty of editorials and market pages come September.
But enough about the clothes--I'm guessing you all watched the show online. I get the feeling that next year, livestreaming the runway will be a requisite, not a trend.
