Steven Alan's holding his press appointments in his cozy brick Tribeca showroom today, and if you've scheduled an appointment we'd like to bet that you'll zoom right in on the JW Hulme collection.
What, you may ask, is that?
A Minnesota based leather goods company that got its start in 1905, making canvas tents in preparation for WWI, and expanded into leather in the 30s. They're best known for providing hunters with duffels, sporting bags and rifle accessories, but now they're moving to Manhattan.
Sort of--Steven Alan loved the brand so much that he brought them into his showroom. The leather's treated to look vintage, and it does look like the perfect vintage bag that lives in your head, but is impossible to find. And, they'll monogram the flap.
We already ordered the one at left; keep your eyes peeled for their arrival at Barneys this summer.
