When Ralph Lauren sent overalls down his SS10 runway, it wasn't exactly a look that shook the fashion world.
The last time I was interested in a denim one piece was in college, when Imitation of Christ's shorts-suit was on my wish list, but this season they're everywhere again.
Vanessa Bruno's have hit Net-a-Porter, Zara's offering two different pairs and this weekend, I tried on a vintage-looking skirt version from H&M's new organic collection (they looked awful, by the way).
On the one hand, rompers and onesies are perfect for summer-- they're easy, loose and slightly dressier than shorts and a tee. But on the other hand, all denim anything is too heavy for New York's summer. It's something I imagine looking perfect on Chloe Sevigny, and looking not so perfect on me.
But are you looking forward to wearing overalls again?
