Vogue Nippon Editor at Large and street style sensation Anna Dello Russo is as full of surprises as she is off-the-runway outfits. So if you have an hour-long conversation with her about her career in fashion, chances are she's going to say (and reveal) some amazing things in the process. This is what happened on Friday at the V&A in London as part of a series of discussions with fashion industry notables. We didn't have time to watch the entire thing (an hour on the internet is like a week in real life) but Vogue UK pulled out a few gems. For one, Dello Russo compared her relationship with street style photog Tommy Ton to that of Queen Elizabeth II and her photographer Cecil Beaton, saying, "I went to see the exhibition of Cecil Beaton's portraits of The Queen, and I thought; 'That's just like me and Tommy!'" She also says bloggers like Tommy have empowered her to become "an ambassador for street style" and said Garance Dore and Tommy have "revolutionised fashion." Of course, she wouldn't make such frequent appearances on these blogs without a mind-boggling quantity of outfits and in the interview, she revealed what we always suspected: that she changes outfits in her car up to five times per day. While that piece of information was not so surprising, we were a bit shocked by her plans for a second career...in music.
