Inspired the by the Secret Garden, Mulberry's Spring 2011 presentation was filled with flowers, puppies, and a soundtrack of chirping birds. Seriously. Click through for some lovely images.
LONDON--The Claridges ballroom was filled to the brim this morning with editors taking in Mulberry's charming-as-usual Fall 2011 show. We were seated in sections delegated by animal--the owl, the porcupine, the bunny--and kitted out with stickers, a fox mask, and a new Mulberry tote bag. Waiters were passing out mini cakes and purple soda. It was kind of like being at a very fancy film showing.
For spring, Mulberry treated us to a quirky, gnome-filled, Neapolitan ice cream-colored garden party. Also Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Downton Abbey stars, and even X-Files' Gillian Anderson.
There were puppies on the runway at Mulberry--a very cute idea, but one that's maybe a bit overdone at this point. Still, you couldn't blame Emma Hi
