Snooki Whips Her Poof. Watch It.
It is a Jersey Shore kind of morning. Snooki is no Willow Smith. But it's still kind of amazing that she made her own "Whip My Hair" video. WITH HER DOG.

If you thought Snooki was too busy causing a ruckus in Florence filming the latest season of Jersey Shore to focus on her branded empire, think again. She's expanded her footwear line (which up until now consisted of leopard print slippers) to include flip-flops and wedges. The line is set to launch for holiday 2011, Footwear News is reporting, and will retail for $15 to $50. A second collection is already in the works for spring 2012. Footwear News has a preview of some of Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's new beach footwear designs, and they are Snooki to the core: one pair is pink with green pickles while the others are a bit fancier with a ruched thong and leopard print soles (think: fist pumping at the club, with the added benefit of a diminished risk of falling). We're not exactly expecting high fashion from Polizzi. Her products are true to who she is and affordable. And that's nice. On another note, Lauren, have you seen the cast in Florence? Are they at Pitti chilling with the Mulleavy's?
It finally happened. First JWoww, then Sammi, and now Snooki has finally professed her ambitions to be a designer. “I wanna be a clothing designer, hair designer," Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi told OK!. She also said she wanted to have "you know, four guido/guidette babies" but that is beside the point. Bring on the rhinestone encrusted sunglasses, the matted bunny slippers and Snooki-branded bumpits! Though lately, Snooki's style seems to getting a bit tamer (her hemlines haven't dropped, thank goodness). She's toned down the poof in favor of bangs and a sleeker less-sprayed mane. And at her latest appearance at the FantaSea Yacht Club in Marina del Rey for the launch of some beauty product called "Beautiful Eyes" (it was classy event, Aubrey O'Day was there), she looked the part in an enormous polo match-style hat that she nearly disappeared under.
We're completely unabashed about our love for Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" video. The song is awesome but the styling is even better. Willow earned some fashion cred when she sat front row next to her mom at Milan Fashion Week. This video should cement her status as the most fashionable nine-year-old in the land. We're betting the video was styled by Mariel Haenn, who styles Willow as well as Rihanna, and for this dazzling display of creativity (hair as a paintbrush, lip art, and silver eyelashes are just a few of the standout style moments) she deserves massive props. And it's all age-appropriate. We're looking at you Cyrus sisters. Here are our favorite looks from "Whip My Hair" (images are screengrabbed from the video and from Just Jared):
more After Willow Smith made the rounds at Milan Fashion Week, we sensed a budding style icon. This video ups the ante. Not only is the song amazing
