It’s November now. This means that chapped, dry, flaky lip season is upon us. There are tons of tried-and-true lip balms out there.
Benefit Benetint Lip Balm: It’s got a subtle rosy tint and SPF 15. No additional lip product needed, $20.
Korres Lip Butter: It comes in seven different hydrating colors, and can do double duty on your lips or cheeks, $10.
L’Occitane Lip Balm Stick: It’s made with shea butter and smells great, $10.
Eve Lom Kiss Mix: Eve Lom is a legendary facialist and her products reflect this reputation. Minty and perfect, this balm is a posher Carmex. (And we mean that as a compliment.) $20.
Ren Biomimetic Perfect Lip Honey: We have no idea what “biomimetic” means but it’s a great balm and really smooth. We read a rumor online that the formula is being revamped, so stay tuned, $19.
Skin Organics Coffee Berry W/Hemp Oil: The greenest balm we found, and it does double duty eyes and lips. Nothing fancy here, but it’s effective. $10, Whole Foods Market
Nude Lips Lip Balm: Really creamy, an almost imperceptible soft scent, and a fantastic little lavender pot, $14.
Clinique Repairwear Intensive Lip Treatment: It claims to boost collagen, provide antioxidant protection, and hydrate. A really smooth formula and perfect base for lipstick, $25. Clinique.com
