Anna Wintour has been unleashing more news than usual in her recent editor's letters. First, she hinted that Karl Lagerfeld was "scouting" Blake Lively...a few week's later, it was announced that the Gossip Girl star would be the face of a new Chanel campaign.
Now, in the January issue of Vogue, Wintour reveals future plans to expand the Fashion Fund to...wait for it...China!
Which explains what Wintour was doing there last month. There are already Fashion Funds set up in the UK (in partnership with the BFA) and a few other European countries, so this move makes sense. The design talent coming out of Asia right now should be recognized.
