On the right, we have Natalie Portman's January 2011 Vogue cover. On the left, her Vogue cover from May 2002. Nine years apart, but pretty similar, no? in both covers Portman wears pale pink dresses, her hair is styled in a low pony tail, and the headlines are in black and red. Also worth noting, as some folks on Fashin have pointed out, it seems peculiar that Portman is wearing a J. Mendel dress that looks like Rodarte, instead of an actual Rodarte dress. Isn't she on the cover for her role in Black Swan, whose costumes were designed by Rodarte? Or maybe it's just that J. Mendel bought heaps of advertising this month.
