It's difficult to do an Apollo spacesuit-inspired collection without looking too retro, but Ohne Titel's Alexa Adams and Flora Gill pulled moon boots off with aplomb. Maybe it was their figure hugging silhouettes or the feminine flounce on the back of those chiffon dresses, but this afternoon's runway looked nothing but forward.
We were particularly fond of the blazers and dresses with multiple zippers circling the body. They seemed to almost keep the pieces from unraveling. The sheer molded puffed sleeves also struck a cord, mostly because they were both strong and feminine.
And like much of what we've seen this season from other designers, the knits were particularly strong. We loved the blood red leggings, as well as the black combo knit and shearling wool poncho, which was set off with a wool rib pant and black cuff boots.
Ohne Titel is a cool girl's brand, with just enough mass appeal. We're still surprised we don't see the looks of these ladies on more actual bodies, as they're some of the most original, stylish things anyone could find.
