It's 60 degrees in New York City today--wooohooo!--which means everyone is breaking out the sheer blouses, lightweight jackets, and easy sneakers. Leah and I both heart casual tennis shoes, so we've decided to pull together our annual roundup of the season's best. Enjoy!
Jack Purcell Helen, $55I was given a pair of Converse's new Jack Purcell Helen--a lightweight, sleeker version of its manly Jack Purcell shoe--at a lovely event the brand hosted at The Smile last week. I've been wearing them pretty regularly ever since.
Unlike most "boys shoes for girls" these aren't dainty or silly looking, they're just a bit less bulky. I was gifted them in khaki, but I'm definitely going to buy the white version before summer hits.
PF Flyers Center Lo, $49.99 PF Flyers' look amazing with dark denim cuffed at the ankles. Very '50s.
Keds For Opening Ceremony, $100 This ongoing collaboration just keeps getting better and better. Love the toile.
TOMS, $48 TOMS are probably the most comfortable sneaker-type shoe we've ever owned; we love the stone washed style.
Bensimon, $80 Leah's favorite comes in a Liberty print for spring.
Billy Reid for K-Swiss We love the classic style that Reid has managed to resurrect. They're unisex, and go on sale this April.
