We’re glad to see that while Gaga’s style and hair constantly evolve, she still embraces her signature money shot: the exposed ass. The picture at left, which we saw hints of a few months ago, is a promotional photo for her just released Born This Way album.
Coinciding with the release of Gaga’s long-anticipated album is an in-depth Rolling Stone interview, which you’ll be able to read this Friday. The mag published some juicy excerpts, making us excited to read the entire thing.
-Some sources of inspiration for Gaga? The movie Rocky IV, which contains the quote: “...once he feels his own blood, he will fear you.” Gaga wants to make the music industry bleed to remind it that it’s human. In a video excerpt of the interview, she reveals that she is also inspired by Iron Maiden and the loyalty of its fans (and coincidentally she was hit on at a Maiden concert by someone who didn’t realize she was Gaga.)
-She says her fans are “part of my person,” that she would never cut them off so she can be a “person,” and that offstage she wears clothes given to her by her fans.
-In high school she was called a slut, big-nosed, weird, ugly, and annoying.
-She confronts critics who claim that her only goal is to attract attention to herself, with the retort, “Why is it that you don't want more from the artist, why is it that you expect so little, so when I give and give, you assume it's narcissistic?"
We're not really tired of Gaga yet. Are you?
