Best of Resort 2012: Christopher Kane, Oscar de la Renta, Proenza Schouler and More
We've finally reached the end of the resort road! And it looks like 2012 is going to be a good year for fashion. We've pulled together our top looks from ten of the season's best collections. Which were your favorite?
Christopher Kane The rainbows are very pride-appropriate and I love the structured dresses and sharp collars. --Leah
Oscar de la Renta This collection felt fresh and current to me, but still very Oscar. And I really want a paper hat. --Lauren
Celine We all know Phoebe Philo can do no wrong. From the floral print three-piece suit, to the baggy striped pajamas, to the sheer skirts and dresses, I want everything from this unusually bold collection. --Dhani
Proenza Schouler Proenza's earthy color-blocking, mixed prints and short silhouettes stood out from the rest of resort. And the shoes were amazing. --Dhani
Valentino The designers added just the right amount of lace and bows to this elegant collection of chic, classic silhouettes, so it was girly, but not too girly. Super pretty. --Dhani
Pedro Lourenco I loved that Lourenco looked to his native Brazil for his first resort collection, showing silk separates boldly printed with parrots and palm trees. Of course, the trick dresses which zipped open to reveal embroidered tweed stole the show. --Leah
Carven Pretty much the whole office is obsessed with Carven. --Lauren
Chloe Each one of these looks is a reminder that the '70s are sticking around--cue my happiness! --Elysia
Cynthia Rowley Everything about the collection is different from my style, yet I find myself nodding in approval. --Elysia
