In today's "Kate Middleton--she's just like us!" news, Grazia Daily is reporting that the Duchess of Cambridge is prepping her wardrobe for her upcoming North American tour with the help of personal shoppers at major UK retailers Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.
It has already been reported that the Duchess has a policy of not accepting free clothes and won't have a special clothing budget for the tour. And it's obvious she doesn't use a stylist, preferring to wear the same looks from high street brands like Reiss and Zara over and over again. Grazia is reporting that Kate is using one of the personal shoppers that William and Harry have gone to in the past for help with holiday shopping.
But since it's Selfridges and Harvey Nichols we're talking about--high end department stores--it's likely we can expect to see some designer duds mixed in with her high street staples for Kate's upcoming trip. We also know that Kate has struck up some private agreements with designers to help outfit her, and it seems Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen is one such designer. The Duchess was spotted leaving McQueen's head office in London yesterday, Grazia is reporting, and apparently it's red. Kate already struck out once in McQueen, so we're psyched to hear that she's reportedly wearing the label again.
