Last week, we got a sneak peek of Prada's fall/winter 2011 ad campaign starring modeling newbie Kelly Mittendorf. This morning, Prada sent us two new images from the campaign featuring those crazy fuzzy swim caps and plastic paillettes and models Ondria Hardin and Frida Gustavsson. With a backdrop of multi-colored tile and green and blue velvet couches, the campaign solidifies Prada's maximalist take on fall. Yep, it's a lot, but somehow also super pretty. Take a look.
Christy Turlington's modeling comeback--which is beginning to feel like a fall campaign takeover--is in full swing. Last month, we reported Turlington would be returning as the face of Calvin Klein Underwear, 25 years after her first campaign with the brand. And today brings news of two other major campaigns starring the 44-year-old '90s-era supermodel: Jason Wu and Prada.
We are loving Jil Sander's graphic, cinematic new ad campaign. We just received images for both ready-to wear and eyewear, which star Daria Strokus, who also starred in the label's Spring campaign, and newcomer Guerrino Santulliana, who just walked in the Spring/Summer 2012 show in Milan. Art directed by Raf Simons and shot by Willy Vanderperre, the campaign is colorful, but still very Fall-like. It's simple, as is typical of Jil Sander, but still makes an impact.
