Keeping the healthy glow you’ve been working on this summer just got easier, thanks to Clé de Peau’s Fall/Winter collection, which hits stores in September. The brand’s color creator/renowned makeup artist, Lucia Pieroni, developed the latest line in hopes of making one’s skin appear bright and luminous during the colder months.
Inspired by winter evenings, Pieroni created two cream eye shadows that give lids a refreshing wash of color with an easy swipe of the fingertip. The cream eye shadows ($45 each) come in two shades: Moon White and Night Brown. Both eye hues—which are made with argan tree oil to help keep skin moisturized—were used in the brand’s ad campaigns featuring Amanda Seyfried, who was named the face of Clé de Peau in December.
To balance out the rich, earthy shadows, Pieroni developed a nude and peach color palette inspired by rose petals for the collection’s Extra Rich Lipstick ($60) which comes in three shades: Comtesse du Cayla (matte coral pink), Mutabilis (shimmery bronze ), and Albertine (light matte peach). The lipsticks are made with vitamin A, an ingredient meant to make pouts appear plump and youthful.
The brand’s newest collection also includes eight shades of full coverage Silky Cream Foundation ($120) with SPF 23. Come October, Clé de Peau will debut its first Intensive Eye Contour Cream ($250 for 15 ml), made with a retinol derivative to make eyelids smoother and more resilient, while decreasing fine lines. The products will be available at Neiman’s, Saks, Barneys and Bergdorf Goodman.
