There's been much ado made in the press over the last year about how Jennifer Lopez has pulled herself out of a slumping career. 2011 has seen J. Lo come roaring back with a vengeance. Her recent roles include: L'Oreal model/spokesperson, American Idol judge, a new album, and campaigns for Tous and Gucci. So in light of all this success, the world greeted her divorce announcement on Friday with a fair amount of surprise. Maybe she's been too busy to maintain a marriage. In public, J. Lo and Marc Anthony seemed like a pretty tight couple, but no one knows what goes on in a marriage except the two people involved. J.Lo has a history with high profile men and high end fashion. Fly Girl--Early 1990s: J. Lo first came into our collective consciousness as a Fly Girl dancer on the show In Living Color, then as a back-up dancer on a Janet Jackson video. Her style was, well, fly. Lots of natural curl and thigh high boots.

Late 1990s, Ojani Noa: J. Lo's first hubby was a waiter when they met. They were married for less than a year, and have had lots of legal battles, mostly about him wanting to publish private information about their lives together. She won all of them.

2000, The Diddy Days: Jennifer's style was over-the-top during this time. Lots of cleavage, and this is the period that brought us That Famous Green
