Best Dressed: Teen Choice Awards

Don't let the name fool you: The Teen Choice Awards are not just for the tweens anymore. Actually, over the past few years the Teen Choice Awards have emerged as one of our favorite red carpets to watch because celebrities take more risks on this carpet, new starlets make their debuts, and the prizes are surfboards, for god's sake. Need we say more? The only thing that bummed us out this year is that some of our favorite actual teen stars--Elle Fanning, Hailee Steinfeld among them--were absent. Check out our favorite looks from last night's award show.

The only thing that bummed us out this year is that some of our favorite actual teen stars--

Wearing gold from head-to-toe isn't always an easy look to pull off, but Zoe Saldana certainly makes it work, looking stunning in this Lanvin 2012 Resort frock.

Rachel Bilson may not have had an acting gig in years but man, the girl can dress. She looks so stunning in this Chloe 2012 Resort number that we may even forgive her for those cheesy Magnum ice cream ads. Maybe.

Whatever Cameron Diaz is doing, we'd like it harvested, distilled and promptly injected into our bodies. The woman looks perennially (freakishly?) glowing, happy and healthy--and here, wearing a nude A.L.C dress, is no exception. Cam probably hopped on her award after the show and surfed home. With guns like that, anything is possible.

Nikki Reed gets in touch with her boho side in a floor length Etro Spring 2011 dress.

We have to appreciate Lucy Hale's red carpet chutzpah: For a relatively little-known actress, the young starlet isn't afraid to experiment with obscure designers, in this case, Cengiz Abazogla.

We're not 100% sure who Kaley Cuoco is (she's apparently on Big Bang Theory) but she looks beautiful in this Rebecca Taylor flowing frock.

You can't miss Elizabeth Banks in this fiery, leather J. Mendel dress. Matching red lips doesn't hurt either.

Blake Lively really jumped on Fall 2011's head-to-toe tonal trend: Her hair, skin and Gucci dress are practically the same color! She still looks cute though.
