We're all about Taylor Tomasi-Hill. From her perfectly kooky street style to her impeccable West Village home, TTH is our consummate life inspiration. Naturally, we're trying to figure out exactly how the Marie Claire editor does it. Well, this video may help. Taylor heads to Barney's with Amanda Hearst, also a Marie Claire editor and, duh, one of the Hearsts (Patty Hearst anyone? She's great.) The mission: style Amanda in Taylor's favorite pieces.
We'd snatch up Taylor's picks in an instant, from some stellar green pants to a very necessary leopard clutch. But somehow the final looks don't feel as unique as when Taylor wears them. For example, a white shirtdress look is pretty on Amanda, but on Taylor it would be heralded as "the reinvention of menswear dressing" on a thousand street-style blogs. Sure, Taylor is a fashion world micro-celebrity who creates buzz just by leaving the house, but she's also the kind of woman that can make a tee shirt and jeans look like a million bucks.
Now if she, Jenna Lyons, and Amanda Brooks all got together in a video, I'm pretty sure casual-chic fashion would implode. Until then, this will have to do.
