Did you ever think you'd hear "Sarah Palin" and "nail art" in the same sentence? Us neither. But it's happened. Getty photog Chip Somodevilla (nice catch sir!) caught the pol with her feet looking a little worse for wear and her toes covered in black polish and white polka dots at the Iowa state fair on August 12. He also noticed that she's wearing a shirt designed by Alina Vilasante which reads, "Love is not something you look for . . . . Love is something you become!"
We, along with the rest of the fashion-lovin' internet, swoon over nail art. We're always hunting down the latest trends in nail art, the latest effects (magentic, crackle finish, etc.,), the newest hues, and which celebs are "edgy" and clued in enough to be on top of the latest polish craze. We never expected Sarah Palin to be among those famous people making a statement on her nails. And now we feel conflicted about our love for nail art. Does this mean it's jumped the shark? How do Sarah Palin's polka dot toes make you feel?
