It's not the most thrilling ad campaign we've ever seen, nor does it feel very spring-y. However, Arizona Muse, who replaces Anja Rubik, doesn't seem to be capable of taking a bad picture and looks amazing here with her new shorter 'do, even if she is just standing on a street corner.
Of course, Karl probably didn't have tons of time to do anything too complicated or involved. In addition to Chanel's spring 2012 campaign, Karl also shot Saskia de Brauw for the latest issue of Madame Figaro and, never one to shy away from self-promotion, he even appears in the background of one of the shots himself. (Peep the full spread over at Design Scene.)
Also revealed on TFS today: a couple of shots from Mulberry's spring 2012 campaign starring Frida Gustavsson and Lindsey Wixson, shot by Tim Walker. In terms of color scheme, it's basically the opposite of Fendi's somber campaign, with giant candy stripes and a retro beach setting. We like.
