Now this is a side of Daphne Guinness we've never seen before! Sporting a red mullet, glam makeup and gold sequins, the typically goth socialite is almost unrecognizable in a David Bowie-inspired editorial for Vogue Germany, which we saw on Fashionising.
Lensed by Bryan Adams, the shoot completely nails Bowie's glamrock sensibility. Plus, it's fun to see Daphne in something other than skunk hair and all-black ensembles. However, we can't help feeling that the whole thing is a little...familiar, no?
After all, Kate Moss channelled Bowie on the cover of Vogue Paris's 2011 music issue, which was itself a repeat of a British Vogue 2003 issue. Model Edita Vilkeviciute did her best impression of the rock star, sporting lightning bolt face makeup in a May 2011 Numero shoot (via Fashion Gone Rogue). Even Balenciaga's Spring/Summer campaign, featuring a mullet-ed Anja Rubik is giving us Bowie vibes.

We hope this doesn't mean that mullets are going to make a comeback...
