This news just might make our heads explode. Ryan Murphy, of Glee fame, is writing and directing a movie musical for besties Beyoncé and Gwyneth Paltrow, Elle is reporting. To make this whole thing even more amazing, Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz, and Andy Samberg are all attached, too.
The movie, to be called One Hit Wonders, will feature Witherspoon, Diaz, and Paltrow as singers who had hit songs in the 90s (let's hope for outfit flashbacks here) and fizzled out, reports Deadline. They then decide to form a super group. It's unclear what role Beyoncé will be playing--mentor maybe? Samberg's Lonely Island will provide music, and Gwynnie will get her first producer credit here.
No word on when this is all happening, since it's in the early stages. But now we know what to look forward to after The Hunger Games. And just think of the red carpet premieres with them all there!
