Things have just gotten a lot, um, messier for Alexander Wang. In the midst of sweatshop allegations and a $450 million lawsuit, the designer's Soho flagship just got egged, Halloween-style, Refinery29 is reporting.
Apparently, each and every window had been egged--which shows some serious dedication on the part of the egger(s). And it was no doubt much to the chagrin of the store's well-dressed hipster employees who had to squeegee the whole mess this morning, according to The Cut.
While we've no way of knowing who got cracking last night or why, it's likely related to those nasty sweatshop allegations.
It's also worth noting that the plaintiff's original lawyer, Ming Hai, and Wang's lawyer, Hugh Mo, have a pretty well-documented beef and that Mo recently suggested to The Cut, that the reason why Hai stepped down from the case is because he was afraid of facing Mo again. Hai, for his part, insisted that he had only stepped down so that the case could be taken to federal court, which will reportedly happen soon.
Things are really coming to a (hard) boil....
