Let's just ignore Gwyneth's other accomplishments (actress, goop-er, cookbook writer, singer, etc) and talk about her clothes today. With a few exceptions, she generally nails it. She knows what she likes, and for the last few years--let's call them the Tracy Anderson years--she chooses things that are generally bodycon and sleek.
And speaking of sleek, Gwynnie is still riding the success of that Tom Ford Oscars dress, which was the subject of much swooning. How did she choose it? She told BFF Mario Batali on The Chew, "I tried on one dress. That was the dress and I thought, 'it's a little different but it's sort of a throwback.' I saw a picture of Jackie O in a white dress with a cape and it's been a while since anyone's worn a cape, frankly, except for Superman." Also her daughter Apple approved of it so...done deal. (You can watch the clip on People here.)
And in what couldn't be more perfect timing, considering that Gwyneth is all over the place this week because of the Oscars and news that she's starring in a movie musical with Beyoncé, Net-a-Porter styled Paltrow in a bunch of looks for spring, which she revealed in her goop newsletter yesterday. The looks are a little looser than her usual fare, and we like it! While we are uncertain about the boyfriend jeans (does anyone look good in those?), the rest are pretty inspirational. So if you didn't already feel like some spring shopping, this might throw you over the edge. (And also, we want her hair.) Click through to see all the looks.
