Victoria Beckham has an eight-page interview with Hamish Bowles in the April issue of Vogue, and in between opening up about her clothing line, marriage, and her Spice Girls past, she also reveals quite a bit about her children's wondrously charmed lives. From getting football lesson from Tom Brady, to hanging with Justin Bieber, and skateboarding in the family's multi-million-dollar home, it's safe to say the Beckham boys already have it made. And lest you think it's all materialistic: There are some seriously heart-warming moments in there about the close-knit family.
On hanging with Justin Bieber and being confused for Pax Jolie-Pitt:
For Romeo’s birthday, as a surprise, the family took him to hang out in Justin Bieber’s studio while he was recording his Christmas album. Bieber sweetly sent the boys signed guitars afterward, but Romeo’s was signed to “Pax” (Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son). “So we got one of the Jolie-Pitts’ guitars,” says his mother; such are the perils of the dailymail.co.uk celebrity lifestyle.
On getting private football lessons from Tom Brady:
The Beckham sons have a relentless schedule of after-school sports (Tom Brady gave them American-football lessons) and performance practices, and Victoria is a committed soccer mom.
On skateboarding in the mansion:
Victoria felt the endless entrance gallery would be good for the boys to skateboard in; one of Damien Hirst’s Spot paintings and his giant candy-pink heart-shaped butterfly painting look down on them when they do so.
On getting mom to drink up so she'll want to cuddle (Ed. note: Aww...):
The boys encourage her to take a sip, so that they can sway her to let them all sleep in the same bedroom. “They cuddle up like little peas in a pod,” she says, “but only on a non-school night.” “Or when Mummy’s had a glass of wine,” adds David.
“He’s very good at breakdancing. He spins on his head,” says Victoria. “Oh, don’t do it now, sweetheart, because you’ll be sick!” He is also doing ballet, inspired by the fact that “his cousin is very lucky because he gets to lift up girls.”
