We attend a lot of press previews and flip through a lot of look books, and there is just something about clothes with cute animals on them that always seems to grab our attention.
Today, I perused the fall 2012 collections of Paul & Joe, Paul & Joe Sister and Little Paul & Joe, all of which I wanted to take home with me. The main collection is lovely as always, with gorgeous prints, amazing tailoring and lots of great pajama-inspired looks if that trend ends up sticking around for next season. The toddler line was ridiculously adorable--the only thing cuter than a sweater with a cat wearing glasses is a baby-sized sweater with a cat wearing glasses. Still, I was most drawn to Sister--not only because I can actually fit into it, but also because I can afford it, and there is a baby tiger print. Not exactly shocking from the brand who put out cat-shaped lipstick. Even without the baby animals, the 60s and 70s inspired silhouettes with warm paisleys, on-trend southwestern prints and pretty brocades all make for a perfect collection of girly-but-not-too-girly clothes.
