Diet Coke announced a few weeks ago that Jean Paul Gaultier was this year's new creative director by releasing a series of really weird, yet strangely endearing puppet videos. Today the new ads and bottle designs (which you can only get in Europe, sadly) dropped. JPG really stuck to his DNA, featuring two bottles: One wearing Breton stripes obvi, and one that looks suspiciously like Madonna circa the cone bra years. Fishnet and tattoo motifs abound. The print ads, shot by JPG pal Stéphane Sednaoui, feature two models in a "Day & Night" theme. This is pure speculation here, but could that blonde be JPG muse Andrej Pejic? Also, look at the nails: the Gaultier striped nail art couldn't be more perfect. Why don't we get fancy fashion Diet Coke here in the US?
