The littlest Kardashians Jenners are giving their mogul big sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe a run for their money. Both Kendall and Kylie star on E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, are slated to have their own reality show spinoff on E!, model, have a jewelry line in the works, and now they've landed coveted gigs at Seventeen. The teen mag announced today that the Jenner sisters "have been appointed West Coast fashion contributors," and will pen "Kendall & Kylie’s Fashion Journal,” a column set to debut in Seventeen's June/July issue featuring "the latest fashion and beauty tips." They'll also star in a bi-monthly web series for the magazine's site. “Kendall and Kylie have such a cool West Coast sense of style—they are evolving into true style icons,” said Seventeen Editor-in-Chief Ann Shoket in a release. Kendall and Kylie's momager Kris is pretty psyched too. “I remember when I was growing up what an iconic and special magazine Seventeen was and what an influence it had on my style and fashion sense," Kris said. "I can’t believe all these years later Kendall and Kylie have the opportunity to be West Coast contributors—so amazing!” Obviously there's a TV tie-in here. You'll see Kendall and Kylie working at Seventeen on Keeping Up, which premieres on May 20. With ad sales generally down across the board for mags, TV is seen as the savior--and any ties to the Kardashians and their never-waning popularity is good for business.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner Are Finally Getting Their Own Clothing Line
Kendall and Kylie Jenner are on track towards becoming their own brand a la their older half sisters the Kardashians. A key component in that brand-building: a clothing line, if not several.
