Yes, it's occasionally fun to splurge on $30 nail polish or an amazing Chanel blush (like this one, our current spring fave in Pink Tweed), but there are so many treasures to be found in the "I can afford this eye shadow and still buy food this week" price range. Luckily for beauty junkies everywhere, this spring a slew of such products have launched/are launching. From trendy color to reasinably priced tools, it's all there. We picked our favorite pieces from a multitude of new collections.

Click through to check out our new inexpensive finds. They'll make you look like a million bucks.

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Cream Gel Shadow: Cream shadows have caught on for two reasons--they're easy to apply and they usually stay on better than powder shadows. Maybelline just released these super long-wearing versions in 11 shades--six statement colors (think teal and emerald) and five neutrals. The pigments are really concentrated, but you can easily control how bright or dark you go by using a lighter hand. (Charlotte Free, Maybelline's new face (see previous page), is sporting Color Tattoo in Tenacious Teal, mixed with Color Explosion Luminzing Eyeshadow in Blue Blowout.) (, $5.59)

ELLE Cosmetics Assorted Makeup Brushes: We are always on the lookout for inexpensive, good quality makeup brushes (because ours inevitably get left at the gym and other random places far, far too often for us to spend good money on them--decent brushes can run you $40 and up). ELLE cosmetics--in addition to a line of eye shadows, lip glosses, and nail polish--just released a comprehensive line of 14 makeup brushes, all reasonably priced. Just try not to lose them, OK? {,$12-$24)

CoverGirl Blast Flipstick: We love a good multi-tasking product and this one fits the bill. Featuring two lip colors--one creamy and one shimmery--you can combine to your heart's content for endless bespoke shades. We love the Pucker combo, which will give you a very Prabal Gurung spring 2012 bright lip, or Vixen for a more classic color.(, $7.99)

CosBar at the Shops at Target: The first Shops at Target launch officially on May 6, and for beauty buffs, the CosBar shop will be a must-stop. The original is a posh beauty mecca in Aspen (where we once spent $80 on eye cream and horded it for months), and its stylish wares will be available at Target prices. We love this compact/tweezer/falsies kit, whose animal print was inspired by the store's wrapping paper. (Target,

e.l.f. Cosmetics Flawless Eyshadow: You cannot beat the price on the e.l.f Essentials collection. Two bucks for everything--lip glosses, blush, and even a full four-color eye palette. Go crazy. Buy two. (, $2)

Almay Smart Shade Perfect & Correct Primer: Besides having a very cool looking bottle (which we are suckers for) this product--Almay's first ever primer--is a multi-tasker. It both brightens and color corrects: the lavender brightens and the green neutralizes redness. And don't worry, your face won't be the color of sorbet; it all blends in, allowing you to put foundation on top. (Walgreens, $13.99)

L'Oreal Infallible 8 Hour LeGloss: A lip gloss that actually stays on? Yes, please! Lip stains with a glossy top coat are all the rage now, and this is a first for L'Oreal. While it doesn't quite last 8 hours, it made it through our morning coffee into lunch time. Love the Cherry Flash color. (Ulta, $9.99)

Sonia Kashuk Beautifying Blush: New colors for spring include flushed (left) a perfect pink and Spice, a darker coral. (Target, $8.99)
