Esteemed consumer products design house is seeking a cutting-edge creative force to be the next Director of Brand and Product Marketing. The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing professional, with prior ties to the retail industry and a proven track record in launching successful brand campaigns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of a potent and impressive brand personality. The Director will work closely with merchandising, accounting and marketing teams in order to ensure product and brand strategies are executed with highest effectiveness. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills that can mobilize a campaign for a company that is a key force in the product design industry.
Responsibilities: • Increase revenue, market share and brand awareness through strategic and integrated marketing campaigns • Oversee all advertising, public relations and traditional marketing projects • Develop a unique and powerful brand strategy that supports the objectives of the organization and its products • Collaborate with merchandising and design teams to coordinate product line architecture • Work closely with accounting to manage and optimize annual budget • Ensure consistent, coherent and concise communication to both internal teams and external teams
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field • 8+ years of marketing experience. 2+ years at director level or 5+ years at marketing manager level • Experience with lookbooks, E Commerce, in Store events and Press • Proven capability to execute press releases, marketing campaigns and presentations • Experience working with new media and internet advertising • Strongly developed verbal and written communication skills • Organized and highly detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple projects • Ability to hire, develop, and supervise marketing staff • Excellent problem-solver that can provide innovative solutions to complex issues • Computer savvy with exceptional proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
