According to a Facebook status update by Mark Zuckerberg, the social network founder tied the knot with his girlfriend Priscilla Chan on Saturday. The couple had an IRL wedding, for which Zuckerberg went hoodie-free and Chan wore a lacey white gown, which we finally have all the details on.
Chan, it seems, did not make a cross-continental trip to Kleinfeld's for her wedding gown. She instead kept it local and went with a dress by Los Angeles-based designer Claire Pettibone, People Style Watch is reporting. The "Sky Beneath the Branches" dress features matte sequins, ivory cut-out embroidery and a sheer back. And despite the fact that she married someone worth over $20 billion, Chan's dress goes for a relatively modest $4,700.
Pettibone also created the gown Elizabeth Moss wore to wed Fred Armisen in 2009. Hopefully, the Zuckerbergs' marriage lasts longer than that one did.
