Since, after 18 seasons, America's Next Top Model is not exactly fresh anymore (or not until they bring in those new bloggers judges), it makes sense that Oxygen, the show's network, would want to broaden their horizons with a new modeling reality TV franchise. And, according to a press release we just received, they've already found their Tyra supermodel judge: None other than Naomi Campbell.
Campbell is one of three supermodel judges (the other two have yet to be named) on new Shine America-produced show The Face who will each scout and lead teams of aspiring young models as they try to make it through the series' challenges, which will include photo shoots, runway shows and commercials for some of America’s best known brands. In the end, one hopeful will be chosen as the winner and will get the be the face of "a major national brand," earning a real contract--aka big money--as the brand ambassador.
No word yet on the "major national brand," the other two supermodel judges, or when the show will air but one thing is certain: Watching the famously hot-tempered Campbell mentor and nurture a team of young model hopefuls will surely make for good TV. Hope these contestants are skilled in ducking as well as strutting.
