The Resort 2013 collections are trickling in from all of the fashion capitals and while we have no idea what our holiday vacation plans are, we already have a pretty good idea of what we want to be wearing. So far, we've been particularly pleased with what our favorite New York designers have to offer for the in-between season.

As we mention almost every time resort or pre-fall comes around, we tend to really like what designers put out for off-seasons because (excluding the insanity that is Marc Jacobs' latest collection) it falls more within the realm of what people actually wear than that of a runway model fantasy. It's also interesting because you start to get a taste of the trends that might end up on the spring 2013 runways. So far, we're seeing a lot of plaids, colorful stripes, and florals, as well as pencil skirts and dresses over pants. We're also getting a lot of '70s and psychedelic vibes. Click on through to see what we mean!

10 Crosby Derek Lam Even though Hanne Gaby Odiele didn't star in this season's 10 Crosby look book, we totally see her in this collection. The swingy dresses, printed pants and boxy blouses make for fun model-off-duty looks that we can pull off as well.

Band of Outsiders This collection is full of the fun, casual staples we all need in our wardrobe, like striped tees that actually look different from every other striped tee, hooded jackets and a simple white jumpsuit that is probably already on its way to Kirsten Dunst's house.

Honor Our love of Giovanna Randall's sweet, feminine wares grows with every collection. This season, her gorgeous digital prints were inspired by Roy Lichenstein which we think adds a fun twist. We love the flirty dresses and sheer panelling.

Chris Benz We feel like this collection is perfect for a disco party in the middle of a tropical vacation. Like a really chic one.

Michael Kors There's too much gorgeous gold sparkliness in this collection to leave it out.

Thakoon Thakoon showed his sweet side with this collection and we like it. It's more of the stripes, florals and plaids we've been seeing, but done in an unmistakably Thakoon way.
