The fashion crowd travels to the 1920's in this new fashion film by Garage editor Dasha Zhukova.
Derek Blasberg and Peter Brant II may not be actors (at least not yet), but they hold their own against actual actress Chloe Sevigny, who plays the Prada-obsessed protagonist in the silent film.
The film is part of ShowStudio's "Fashion Fetish" series, which examines a woman's relationship with clothing. Here, we see Sevigny walk into some sort of fashion party (which appears to take place in the Opening Ceremony showroom) looking sad and tired, get annoyed that a waiter played by Peter Brant can't stop talking about himself, then sees a pretty Prada dress that sends her into a fanciful daydream involving a choreographed dance routing with Derek Blasberg who seems just as infatuated with her as she is with that dress.
The moral of the story: if you wear Prada, cute straight boys like, um, Derek Blasberg will totally fall in love with you! Hopefully this helped her forget about her fake penis.
How do you think Blasberg and Brant fared in their acting debuts (unless of course you count Blasberg's Sh*t Fashion Girls Say)?
