Behold, the Jeremy Scott for Adidas Fall 2012/13 look book, complete with teddy bear pants, a butterfly-winged track jacket (modeled by Charlotte Free) and a leopard-and-zebra-print parka, naturally.
Anyway, Scott--ever the one for understated elegance--went all out for this new collection and we think it's possibly his most bonkers yet.
According to the press release on Adidas' site, the inspiration for his collection came from "playing with nature and technology while wrapping everything up in a 90s-inspired look." The result is a collection that features flower and animal prints, and a colorful design that, if you look closely, is a play on the computer keyboard--all interspersed with Adidas classics like tracksuits and three-stripe sneakers. While some of the looks are, shall we say, out there, we're actually not mad at the tropical floral print suit or the leopard track jacket, which is giving us some vintage Versace vibes.
As for those stuffed animal pants...Adidas is calling them a "new interpretation of the teddy bear." Well, that's one way of putting it. Don't they just make you want to snuggle the model's crotch?
