KAELEN, a New York City based fashion brand, is seeking applicants for the newly created role of management coordinator. Qualified individuals should have a background that includes experience in upper contemporary / designer fashion brands. Candidates should be intuitive self-starters, who have strong time management skills and work well in fast paced environments. Applicants with fashion brand and agency experience are preferred.
This position will allow candidates to learn key aspects for how to manage a business and different departments. It requires a strong analytical sense, as well as the ability to self-motivate and stay organized.
Desired Skills: - Bachelor’s degree (background in communications and/or marketing preferable) - 1-3 years of experience working with a fashion brand or an agency - Computer Skills: proficiency in Microsoft Word and excel - Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment - Experience with Adobe Suite highly desirable
Responsibilities: Employee shall provide services to Company, which shall include, but not be limited to: 1. Assist in maintenance of various log books, charts and reference resources, including data filing, line sheets, style logs and external communications. 2. Assist with direct sales strategy, implementation, fulfillment and collections for the company. 3. Analyze sales, pricing and production to improve efficiency within different divisions of the business. 4. Create grant, sponsorship and strategic partnership applications and proposals. 5. Write copy and edit look books, proposals for VIPs and other company collateral. 6. Work with company management and partners to create budgets for sales, work closely with management on new projects including but not limited to new product launches and marketing initiatives. 7. Work with PR team on marketing initiatives to drive sales. 8. Assist with tradeshows and sales related travel. 9. Maintain sample trafficking and personal loans. 10. Coordinate messenger service and all domestic and international shipments. 11. Organize and maintain schedule of CEO
