Lanvin's latest ad campaign has created a decent amount of buzz, and with good reason--Alber's models aren't models at all. They're ordinary women (and men) whose ages fall somewhere between 18 and 82.
We've already fallen in love with the woman at the latter end of the spectrum--Jacquie "Tajah" Murdock, a former Apollo dancer whose lifelong dream it was to make it as a model in Paris. She's somewhat of a regular on Ari Seth Cohen's street style blog, Advanced Style, but she's not the only one in the campaign who has been featured on the site.
62-year old Tziporah Salamon is one of Ari's favorite and most recognizable characters and she, too, posed for Lanvin's fall campaign. She told Ari that she is "totally honored, jazzed and thrilled" about the campaign. Us too, Tziporah.
Between Tajah, America Apparel's Jacky and now, Tziporah, we're starting to see a trend...
