The Olympics are finally here, and Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama both deserve gold medals in our minds. While their respective countries' Opening Ceremonony uniforms garnered some criticism (the US Ralph Lauren uniforms for not being made in the US and England's for making the athletes look like ABBA), we can't find any fault with these two style ambassadors. The pair met up on the first night of Olympics festivities on Friday, and it's the first time these two have been in the same room since May 2011. So how did their outfits coordinate and compare?
The FLOTUS debuted a skirt and embroidered jacket combo from J.Mendel's 2013 resort collection (pic on left) and Kate Middleton wore an icy blue Christopher Kane coat dress. The two have sort of flipped color palettes and sleeve shapes since their last meeting, when Mobama was the one in shiny blue.
