Props to the combined efforts of Carine Roitfeld, Mario Testino, and Tom Ford for turning what could've been a regular old profile on Tom Brady into something with a little more bite (ya, we said it). The cover shoot for VMAN's fall issue, out August 23, sees Gisele's other half doing things with a really angry looking doberman pinscher. Lots of things. There's growling, biting, sneering, menacing-looking lunging...even some sharing of wardrobes. That's right people, Carine Roitfeld got Tom Brady to wear a studded dog collar. How Fifty Shades of her...
But it wasn't all scary: Tom Ford, who conducted the interview, got the New England Patriots quarterback to open up about his post-Pats career path and his plans for the fast-expanding Bundchen/Brady brood:
"The only thing I ever wanted to be was a professional football player. I want to have four kids and I want to be a really good dad, too."
Tabloids, rejoice! This means we definitely haven't seen the last of that always-thrilling is-she-or-isn't-she Gisele Bundchen baby bump watch after all. That is, if Tom Brady has anything to do with it--which, let's face it, he kinda has a lot to do with it.
And in spite of looking super pissed throughout the entire shoot save for a single smiling pic, Brady insists he's really a gentle soul: "My wife and I are very affectionate, it's just part of our nature." Aww. That's nice.
He also gives us some insight into the many hardships Gisele faces as the most successful supermodel in the history of the universe. "I'm telling you, she makes [modeling] look easy," he says. "Because it's not easy, oh my god it's not easy." Uh, yeah Tom, we know. We watch ANTM.
