For Karl Lagerfeld's 600 millionth collection overall--and his second collection for lower-priced line Karl by Karl Lagerfeld--the Kaiser has whipped up an unsurprisingly sophisticated and edgy mix of clothing and accessories set to hit Net-a-Porter tomorrow, Vogue UK is reporting.
Like Lagerfeld's first collection for Karl, this new collection offers a feminine twist on the designer's signature personal style: There are sharp tuxedo jackets, embellished crisp white collars, and, of course, studded leather gloves. The collection is predominately black and white, as we could have predicted, though Lagerfeld did include multi-colored patterned frock in the mix.
No word yet on the exact price points--though we're betting Lagerfeld will stick to the same range as last season, which was between $50 to $1000. What will also probably the same as last season: How quickly the collection will sell out.
