I'll admit: I once ran to CVS on my lunch break to purchase a shade of nail polish that matched the pretty purple logo of the lemonade I was drinking at the time. But Rihanna's really one-upped my own refrigerated beverage-as-fashion game with this one: For her recent 'tell-all' interview on Oprah Oprah's Next Chapter, Rih-Rih donned a Marc Jacobs maxi dress that suspiciously resembled a can of Arizona Green Tea. Make that a 23-ouncer to be specific--Google says Rihanna is 5'8", which is relatively tall.
So what do you think it is about Arizona's green tea offering that inspired Rihanna's sartorial choice? Is it the ginseng? The unexpected dose of honey? Maybe the fact that Arizona's ingredients are 100% all natural, which also seems to have affected Rih's bare-face makeup look? Plus there's the calming aspect that comes along with tea consumption--something Rihanna most definitely needed lots of after getting all choked up with Opie about Chris Brown. Yeah, that's probably it. Ok, so we're a little disappointed Rih didn't go totally all out with an Arizona-inspired mani... There's always next time.
But what we really want to know is, whose cans look better in the dainty-blossoms-on-mint-look: Rihanna's or Arizona Green Tea? And should Arizona consider adding some on-trend polka dots to its packaging?
