Intern responsibilities including: • Assist Marketing Department with creating marketing materials and collateral from researching to design to production • Assist PR Department with sample trafficking, press outreach and follow-up and event coordination • Assist Sales Department with sales meetings, licensee requests, collateral and wholesale orders • Create presentations and materials for internal and external use in sales and marketing
Skills and qualifications: • Must be proficient with ALL MS Office Applications • Efficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign • Ability to do graphic design work (retouching, clipping images, creating PDFs and JPEGS) • Great research skills • Creative thinker
Kooba, the luxury international leather accessories brand is looking for a Sales and Merchandising Intern for their New York Office. This position is for immediate placement and can be part of a College credited program
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Learn the daily operations of sales and merchandising • Assist team with market preparation ( including : photography, style # creation, line sheet creation, appointment confirmations ,showroom set up and calendar updates) • Send out and follow-up on all sample product requests. • Assist team during market appointments • Maintain organization of showroom product, including unpacking samples as they arrive. • Assist with administrative responsibilities. • Preparing orders for entry and create order logs • Assist in running sales and inventory reports on a weekly basis for VP of sales • Create season trend forecast recaps • Attend store merchandising visits • Monitor, copy and orders on joor.com
Required Professional Experience & Competencies: Required skills, abilities and personal characteristics – the “must haves”. • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Strong attention to detail • Willingness to learn • General knowledge of the fashion and accessories industry
