That's right, the Jets quarterback was shot by Annie Leibovitz for the October issue of the mag. The accompanying article opens with the already heavily-treaded territory of the Tim Tebow mythology: His humble beginnings as the son of Christian missionaries and his rapid ascent to the top of the college football heap. But then writer Taylor Antrim asks Tebow's new celebrity friends like (are you ready?) Karlie Kloss and Jon Hamm what they think of Tim. Also discussed are Tebow's possible plans for the future, both in the NFL and beyond. The question the article seems to ask is: "Can Tim Tebow really be this good of a guy all the time?" (Answer: Apparently, yes he can.)
As Fashionista's resident Tim Tebow apologist (he won two national championships at the University of Florida during my time as a student there, so I'm obviously obligated to be a fan for life) I'm pretty excited by the prospect of seeing Timmy shirtless in the fashion bible. But despite appearances at events like the Met Ball and an interview in Vogue, it remains to be seen if the rest fashion world is as ready as I am to embrace Tebow. After all, not everyone is willing to overlook his political beliefs just because he can play a mean game of football.
