There are more rumors this morning surrounding the upcoming Zoolander sequel (which seems to really be happening) and its potentially very high-profile cast. For instance, what would a film about the male modeling industry be without Lady Gaga?
Not much, in Ben Stiller's opinion. The Sun and other British tabs are reporting that Gaga has been offered £3 Million to be in the film, which is a little under $5 Million USD. That sure is a lot of money (that Gaga probably doesn't really need) and obviously we hope she takes it (and donates it to charity).
This of course begs the question: what will they have her do? The Sun alleges she'll be in the middle of a love triangle between Derek and Hansel. Some other possibilities (that we just made up?): Derek and Hansel, too old for runway modeling, will become backup dancers for Gaga. Or they'll showcase her charitable side and she'll make a hefty donation to The Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too.
Of course, Stiller has some backups if Gaga doesn't work out, none of whom would be a bad plan B: "Kate Moss, Kate Upton, Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima are also candidates," reports The Sun. But what about Lara Stone?? She already said she wants to be in it and we bet she'd be okay with less than $5 million.
In other Gaga rumors, the Daily News reports she's launching a “healthy drinking water brand,” which scares us a little. Hopefully it's not black.
