Yesterday most New Yorkers could be found standing in line at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods (or the liquor store) prepping for Hurricane Sandy. But not Prabal Gurung.
Based on some photos a tipster sent us, he was busy shooting his Target campaign with stars Olivia Thirlby and Chris Conroy in the West Village. The collection, which Gurung has said is all about love ("having it, pining for it, losing it, wanting it"), apparently shows Thirlby and Conroy as a couple in love, doing adorable things like sword fighting with flowers.
What's more, the shots give us another peek at what's to come from Gurung's upcoming Target collab. That graphic floral print we saw on a sharp white blazer and shorts also shows up on a ruffle skirt mini-dress. And for a non-printed option, we see Thirlby in an adorable black and white dress with a black bow at the neckline.
We like what we're seeing here so far. Who else is psyched for February 10, when the collection hits Target stores?
