Casey Legler, the female artist who made news when she was signed to Ford Models men's board, has scored her first major campaign.
AllSaints chose the former Olympic swimmer to star in their "Portraits of a Collection" spring 2013 series, the Telegraph is reporting. And true to her gender-bending style, Legler wears articles from both the men's and women's collections.
In a statement from AllSaints, the brand calls the series, which also features British artist Barry Reigate and actress Sonja Kinski, "an ongoing project, highlighting independent thinkers chosen for their rejection of inherited thinking and an appetite for creative disruption."
We'd say Legler fits the bill pretty well, no?
"Spring is a consciously evolved, refined and curated collection that distills our brand identity of an attitudinal, metropolitan wardrobe," says AllSaints Creative Director Wil Beedle. "These portraits document that evolution."
